Bowhead seeks a Lead Software Integrator to support NIWC Atlantic by analyzing complex technical support assignments and integrating software components into defense mission systems.
Requirements
- COMPTIA Sec + or higher certification
- Experience in Azure and Google Cloud
- Experience with KIV and KG encryption devices and data transport
- Experience designing and deploying workloads.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) software for functionality, interoperability, compatibility and security.
- Integrate software components, subsystems, and external interfaces into defense mission systems.
- Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, and cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with DoD security standards.
- Conduct software integration and validation testing to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Develop and maintain detailed integration documentation, including interface control documents (ICDs), configuration baselines, and version tracking.
- Support Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for secure software delivery.
- Troubleshoot system performance issues and implement software fixes or enhancements.

- Minimum of 7 years experience
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, Government personnel, and other stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and the ability to lead a team or perform independently.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, CONUS and OCONUS
- Must currently hold a Secret clearance.
