Crane Payment Innovations (CPI) is seeking to attract undergraduate talent with fresh perspectives and innovative thinking for their Summer Internship Program 2026. Interns will contribute to the delivery of the strategically important New Product Development (NPD) project – SC3, supporting high-impact development activities critical to the product launch.
Requirements
- Familiarity with relevant languages/tools, e.g. Python, C++, Git, etc.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, testing, and integration of software components for the NPD project
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups as part of an Agile development team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support feature delivery
- Document technical work, including code, test results, and implementation notes
- Take ownership of a defined sub-project or feature area with measurable outcomes by the end of the internship
Other
- Working toward a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Effective communication and collaboration in a team environment
- CPI will not offer relocation assistance for this internship, only local candidates will be considered.
