Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is searching for a Software Engineer to join the Global C2 Solutions Business Unit in support of our programs in Huntsville, AL. The selected candidate's tasking encompasses designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging automation tools collecting software metrics. Informing, updating, and advising Program Management on the improvement and deprecation of various metrics. Collaborating with Agile Software Teams and Technical Leadership to drive process improvement. Assisting Control Account Managers (CAMs) and supporting the development of Earned Value Management artifacts.
Requirements
- Experience developing software using Object-Oriented Programming (Python, Java, C++)
- Experience developing software on Linux
- Experience managing source code using Git, GitHub, or GitLab
- Understanding of all phases of software development, and practical experience in an Agile/Dev*Ops environment
- Experience with Python
- Experience with workflow automation tools such as Power Automate
- Experience with Unit testing
