Contribute to the growing quality assurance program at MathWorks and perform audits against Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Identify problems and areas for process improvement, specifically in the context of web accessibility of MathWorks products.
Requirements
- Good understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
- Familiarity with different VPAT reporting formats (WCAG, Section 508, or EN 301 549)
- Using screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, or VoiceOver) voice input technology (Dragon naturally speaking), color contrast checkers, and other accessibility audit tools
- Software development processes
Responsibilities
- perform audits against Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
- assess compliance with accessibility standards
- provide support in remediating non-compliant areas
- Develop, update and maintain WCAG compliance processes
- Develop, update and maintain VPAT documentation based on industry and government best practices and standards
- make practical recommendations to improve accessibility

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering [any], or related field and no experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering [any], or related field and [3] three years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Process Engineer-related occupation.
