MiTek is seeking a Software Product Manager to focus on Design and Engineering for Component Manufacturers and Material Suppliers. The role involves leading teams to develop software solutions for system integration, determining software interaction logic for wood framing conditions, and ensuring product development aligns with customer needs, company ROI goals, and overall strategy to transform the building industry.
Requirements
- Solid foundation in software development principles and technical proficiency preferred
- Ability to perform mathematical skills such as calculating proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume and able to apply concepts of basic geometry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
Responsibilities
- Lead teams to develop software solutions for system integration
- Determine software interaction logic for wood framing conditions
- Gathering, and prioritizing product and customer needs
- Defining the product vision
- Working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure customer satisfaction as well as company ROI goals are met
- Ensure that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals
- Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation
Other
- 5+ years of experience in product management or other roles involved with the specification, development, or testing of software products OR 5+ years of experience in the homebuilding industry
- Excellent planning, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to bring clarity and order to competing priorities and unmet customer needs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- In-office, work from home and hybrid schedules available, overtime as required.
