Input 1 is looking for a Software Product Owner (Operations) to join their team and help drive the successful delivery of client-requested software enhancements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience gathering and documenting business, functional and technical requirements for software products
- 1–3 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role where you influenced product delivery
- Proven ability to analyze requests and define optimal solutions, not just document what’s asked
- Experience working with SaaS or enterprise-level platforms in cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Postman, MS Word, and Excel
Responsibilities
- Translate client requests into clear, thoughtful, and effective system enhancements specifications
- Prioritize features based on business impact and available resources
- Collaborate with Developers, QA, and SBAs throughout the software development lifecycle
- Participate in hands on testing and ensure features meet business needs and technical requirements
- Monitor post-release performance and suggest improvements when needed
- Develop subject matter expertise in our operational systems and premium finance industry
Other
- Serve as the key liaison between internal stakeholders, clients, and development teams
- Think critically about each request to propose the best system solution, not just the requested change
- Insurance, premium finance, or financial services knowledge is a plus
- Salary Range: $85,000 – $120,000 per year
