Rosco Vision is looking to solve the problem of improving vision safety solutions for the bus and truck vehicle marketplace by enhancing their digital vision technologies, including cameras, sensors, monitors, and collision avoidance systems, through effective product vision, strategy, and user experience design.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- Experience with the AWS ecosystem and APIs (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of project management software such as Jira, Kanban, etc.
- Desired proficiency in one or more of the following languages and frameworks: Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, T-SQL.
- Should know at least one front-end framework: React (preferred)
- Desired proficiency with technical writing concepts and document creation and proficiency with graphic design software such as: Adobe Photoshop, Figma, or close equivalent.
- Familiarity with MariaDB, RedShiftDB, working with Flask Web Framework, experience with UML, technical diagrams, mockups etc. desired.
Responsibilities
- Perform the following release management actions: Backlog grooming, Release planning, Release delivery management, Daily release progress checks, Daily standup meetings with the development team's lead
- Craft user stories and user journeys that capture the end-to-end user interactions with the product, ensuring a cohesive and impactful user experience.
- Working closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into actionable development tasks, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.
- Leading the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs in the commercial transport sector.
- Championing UI/UX design principles to create engaging and seamless user experiences for drivers and fleet managers.
- Utilizing a deep understanding of modern software design practices to guide the development of intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Overseeing the creation of comprehensive software product user documentation, including user guides, manuals, and online help resources, to support users in effectively utilizing the product and maximizing its value.

- Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment while working cross-functionally with multiple teams (Engineering, Tech Support, Sales, Marketing, etc.).
- Conversational fluency in a language other than English (Russian highly desired).
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facility.
- Must be able to quickly traverse manufacturing areas.
