Uniti is looking for a Software Product Verification Engineer to ensure the quality and functionality of their cloud software products for the OfficeSuite UCaaS service, including VoIP application servers, voicemail applications, and media servers. This role is crucial for testing new product versions before deployment, supporting production systems, and diagnosing customer-reported issues to maintain high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- A technical background in VoIP solutions or UCaaS with experience in Linux and Linux commands, virtualization, security, networking, and high availability is required.
- Experience working in an IT ticketing platform.
- Experience with software product verification, software systems support, or development, and knowledge of test methodologies.
- 5 years of experience constructing and executing test plans, estimating effort, identifying and documenting defects, and recognizing that the product has achieved the expected quality level.
- Experience with automated testing and Python is recommended.
Responsibilities
- Software verification using Agile methodology with a focus on ensuring that the products under development meet the specified requirements and maintain high quality.
- Execute test plans, identify and document defects, and develop test plans for new capabilities.
- Install, configure and maintain your Linux-based virtual test environment.
- Work closely with developers, support engineers and other verification engineers to accurately identify and resolve defects.
- Troubleshooting and technical support of production systems.
- Working independently as well as working in a cross-functional team.
