The Software Project Manager is needed to ensure the successful implementation of TGW software to the customer by managing integrated software systems within complex automated material handling systems.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Microsoft .NET Platform and/or Java.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server – Version Control, work item management
- Understanding of Windows Server Environments with VM Ware
- Knowledge of hardware requirements definition and order (server hardware, peripherals, PCs, scanners, printers, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Manages the successful delivery of integrated software systems into complex automated material handling systems.
- Develops specification documents, including functional specifications, interface specifications, network infrastructure requirements and specifications.
- Works with system integration team to define the interface points between subsystems.
- Leads onsite installation and commissioning of, and training on, software solutions.
- Organizes and leads acceptances testing processes.
- Interprets and communicates complex technical and commercial issues with customer.
Other
- Minimum of three (3) years of software project management/leadership experience, or related.
- Up to 50% domestic and international travel.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, internal and external.
- Robust knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- This position may require work at TGW customer sites. TGW’s customers may require background checks before accessing their sites.
