SPARK Business Works is looking for a Software Project Manager to lead the successful execution of custom software projects, ensuring they deliver measurable results and align with client goals. The role involves coordinating resources, managing budgets and timelines, and maintaining proactive client communication to solve client challenges and drive growth.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally blending education and professional work.
- Experience in a software agency environment, managing multiple complex projects at once.
- Hands-on experience building project plans, tracking KPIs, and delivering successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to execute projects successfully.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Provide consistent weekly client updates, including progress and burn rates, supported by calls, emails, and occasional in-person meetings.
- Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and manage scope, schedule, and cost adjustments.
- Update backlog and resource planning weekly to maintain accurate revenue forecasting.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, escalating risks early to leadership when necessary.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks and ensure stability.
