Maximus is seeking a Software QA Analyst / Tester to support their IRS client by ensuring software quality through rigorous testing.
Requirements
- Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA) and large-scale distributed systems
- Working experience with developing automation test scripts.
- Experience with SQL scripting
- Experience with Soap UI, JMeter
- Working experience with performance tuning and stress testing
Responsibilities
- Develop/modify, document and execute test scripts, test cases, and test scenarios based upon software requirements definition, in concert with the business process analysis and customer-driven change requests.
- Apply systems analysis and testing techniques and procedures to ensure software or system functional specifications are correctly identified.
- Create test-related work products (test cases/scripts, test datasets, test validation and verification results etc.) per testing standards and procedures.
- Prepare any required reporting documentation for the respective testing activities.
- Ensure adherence to performance standards and best practices during testing
- Design, develop, and deploy automated tests in a continuous build environment (Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions), maintaining reusable test data for automation scripts
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for web interface and web services

- This is a fully remote, direct hire role.
- Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance. This requirement includes being a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant.
