Relay is looking for a Software QA Developer I to ensure the quality of their products and help mold their customers' experience.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Android Debug Bridge (ADB) and device logging tools
- Ability to develop and debug automated test scripts
- Python or other coding experience a plus
- Extremely comfortable using Linux (managing files, grep, cat, bash, vim, etc)
- Understand Agile concepts and QA process (Functional test/regression/Smoke test/etc)
- Experience with Android, iOS, Web/Desktop, Networking, or similar
Responsibilities
- Verify new and existing features in the Relay App and Relay Dashboard Web interface
- Assist in end-to-end testing with Relay Device and Server side components
- Create test cases and test plans
- Execute manual and automated tests
- Work closely with the development team on any defects or feedback found in testing
- Participate in Sprint planning and design sessions
- Perform in depth analysis including log examination and querying data
Other
- Associate's degree or higher level of educational attainment required or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years Testing experience
- Proactive communicator
- Ability to multi task and find the next priority item to work on
- Hungry to learn and grow
- Work from the office a minimum of 3 days per week
