Requirements
- Proficient in C++ and Python programming.
- Experience writing software in both Windows and Linux systems.
- Experience with video codecs algorithms H265, AV1, VP9 etc.
- Experience with programmatic ways to asses video quality VMAF, SSIM, PSNR etc.
- Data analysis and relational database experience.
- Experience developing automation using Jenkins.
- Knowledge of collaborative software engineering best practice including usage of Source Control Management systems, Continuous Integration/Deployment frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software for testing the performance and correctness of PlayStation® video encoding and decoding.
- Collect, visualize and report on performance data and operational statistics to improve the efficiency of our tools and processes.
- Research innovative solutions to technical challenges in Quality Assurance and applicable compiler technologies for PlayStation.
