Biamp is seeking a Product Verification Engineer to evaluate software and firmware associated with electronic devices to ensure exceptional product quality, involving comprehensive testing and validation of applications and associated audio/visual and room control equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on testing experience with knowledge of diverse testing methodologies and protocols
- Demonstrated experience in product verification and validation processes
- Proficiency in programming languages: C, C++, C-Sharp, Python, or similar languages
- Experience with multiple operating systems: Windows, Linux, Android, iOS
- Strong understanding of network protocols and cloud technologies
- Experience with test management tools (Jira preferred)
- Ability to create detailed technical documentation including test plans and quality reports
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for software, firmware, associated with electronic devices
- Perform manual and automated testing including black box testing on desktop devices, networked systems, and cloud-connected devices
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using programming languages such as C, C++, C-Sharp, Python, or similar tools
- Configure and manage network environments for testing both locally and in cloud environments
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
- Document test plans, test cases, and results using tools such as Jira
- Review technical specifications and provide constructive feedback

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including development, quality assurance, and product management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
