The iWork team at Apple is looking for a software QA engineer to work on the next generation of Desktop, Mobile and Web application/services to ensure quality and process improvements.
Requirements
- 1+ years experience automating in Swift and/or Python
- 2+ years experience with automation in general
- In-depth experience in work situations with Spreadsheets, Word Processors or Presentation software
- Strong hands-on experience with QA methodologies
- Bug detection, isolation, and regression skills
- Proficient at ad-hoc testing without documentation/guidance
Responsibilities
- planning, designing, writing, maintaining and executing test cases
- drive all aspects of quality and process improvements
- Report bugs with outstanding isolation and regression techniques
- managing priorities and communicating progress and risks effectively and systematically
- coordinate multi-functional test efforts
- Translate software feature descriptions into effective test plans
- write clear and concise bug reports with all the relevant information
Other
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skill (oral and written)
- Creative problem solving skills with a passion about quality
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent of 5 plus years relevant experience required
- At least 5 years experience in QA/QE
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
