Apple's iWork Numbers QA team is looking to improve the quality of their creativity apps on all platforms, including Desktop, Mobile, and Web application/services.
Requirements
- Experience working with spreadsheet apps, such as Numbers/Excel/Google Spreadsheets, is a plus
- 1+ years experience automating in Swift and/or Python
- 2+ years experience with automation in general
- Strong hands on experience with QA methodologies, or prior QA experience
- Confirmed bug detection and bug isolation skills
- Analytical, disciplined and creative problem solver committed to driving quality forward
- Ability to adapt in a high-paced and informal environment
Responsibilities
- testing, isolating issues, writing bug reports, and verifying resolutions for our creativity apps on all platforms
- performing ad-hoc and structured tests every single day
- managing priorities and communicating progress and risks effectively and systematically
- coordinating multi-functional test efforts with other team members
- automating tests in Swift and/or Python
- detecting and isolating bugs
- driving quality forward in the product development process for software engineering
Other
- Outstanding communication skills, for collaborating across many participating teams
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work in a diverse team environment
- Background in finance, accounting, or data analysis is a plus
- Act as a strong advocate for quality in the product development process for software engineering
