isolved is looking to solve the problem of ensuring the quality of their HCM technology products by hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer to develop and support the execution of test plans, test scripts, and process plans for projects.
Requirements
- Ability to create clear, concise detail oriented test plans/cases.
- Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
- Ability to use software testing programs.
- Creative solving of technical problems to ensure the ability translate technical requirements test plans.
- Ability to think abstract to ensure ability to not conform to the norm.
- Eager to learn and grow.
- Clear communicator (written and verbal) to ensure ability to write test plans and test cases.
Responsibilities
- Execute Test Plans
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
- Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.
- Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
- Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.
- Create or maintain databases of known test defects.

- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables ensures the ability to find the bad defects and bugs quickly.
