BetterHelp is changing the way it tests its software and is looking for pioneers to form a new Localization Quality Assurance team to ensure products meet high standards for quality.
Requirements
- At least 1-3 years of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) experience
- Prior experience as a QA Engineer or SDET
- Previous experience working in an Agile development environment
- Strong understanding of QA best practices
- Proficiency in test case design, test coverage strategies, and regression testing
- Experience with at least one automation tool such as Cypress or Playwright (Playwright preferred)
- Comfortable with SQL and relational databases (SQL fluency is a plus)
Responsibilities
- Determine the best test strategy for assigned areas of test, whether it be manual or automated testing
- Write clear and concise test plans, test cases, and bug reports
- Write scalable, reliable automated tests using tools such as Cypress or Playwright (Playwright preferred)
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers
- Lead testing for small to medium features (e.g., 2-point Jira cards) independently
- Mentor junior QA team members and help them expand their product knowledge
- Research test tools, methodologies, and trends to improve existing practices and processes

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience
