Apple is seeking a Software Engineering QA Manager to lead the Applications team and ensure high-quality products that meet Apple's standards and project timelines.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with at least the last 2+ years in a QA leadership role
- 5+ years of designing manual and automated test plans, performing software debugging, and exposure to various debugging tools and testing methodologies
- 3+ years experience performing software quality assurance of mobile, desktop, virtual platforms, APIs, and backends
- Past experience with data analysis and providing visualization
- Experience with Firebase Remote Config or similar platform
- Experience with A/B testing frameworks and performance monitoring tools
- Experience working with Apple testing tools and platforms, such as xctest & XCUI
Responsibilities
- Build, hire, and mentor highly effective, quality engineers and teams
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to meet high-quality standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement new tools and methodologies to increase efficiency
- Ship features across all Apple platforms that meet our high standards for quality
- Lead staff in effectively scoping and the prioritizing of testing deliverables
