OCTO is looking for a resource to test the Department of Motor Vehicles enterprise application to promote the safe operation of motor vehicles and public safety, while providing outstanding customer service.
Requirements
- Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (JIRA)
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, ACCELQ)
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Must have worked with version control
- Automation testing experience (e.g. Selenium, ACCELQ)
- Security testing knowledge
- Experience in REST API along with integration testing
Responsibilities
- Performing Software Application Testing of customized solutions within the software platform to support critical business functions and meet the project objectives, client use requirements and company goals
- Write automated test scripts based on the User Stories and develop a methodology
- Develop test strategies, plans, and test cases (functional, automation, integration, regression)
- Execute manual and automated tests, track defects, ensure resolution with proper documentation
- Automate test cases using test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium, ACCELQ etc.)
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to refine requirements and acceptance criteria
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 8+ years’ experience in software testing / QA
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail
- Direct interaction with clients, managers, and end users is necessary to analyze project objectives and capability requirements
