BLN24 is looking to establish and maintain comprehensive testing strategies across a portfolio of cloud-migrated applications to ensure they meet stringent performance, security, and compliance standards prior to deployment in cloud environments.
Requirements
- Strong background in automated testing, test planning, and performance validation
- Familiarity with federal cybersecurity frameworks and compliance testing
- Experience with enterprise testing frameworks, particularly within federal cloud environments
- Deep understanding of federal cybersecurity and compliance requirements
- Experience with cloud migration, modernization, and compliance initiatives
- Knowledge of cloud security protocols
- Experience with AWS environments
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the overall QA strategy across multiple cloud-based applications
- Lead performance, regression, and compliance testing efforts within AWS environments
- Oversee and mentor junior QA analysts, ensuring consistency in testing practices across teams
- Ensure all software applications adhere to NOAA IT Security standards and Federal Data Strategy compliance requirements
- Proactively identify potential risks, escalate issues promptly, and provide comprehensive QA reporting to program leadership
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate quality assurance processes into the development lifecycle
- Stay updated on emerging QA methodologies, federal regulations, and cloud security protocols to continuously enhance testing practices
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 8–10 years of experience in software quality assurance
- Minimum of 3 years in a QA leadership role
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with development and operations teams
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
