The business and/or technical problem this job is looking to solve is to ensure the consistent delivery of error-free software releases by designing, implementing, and executing test plans for various components of software applications.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience using Carecom or an equivalent CRM system.
  • Knowledge of Windows, MS Office Products and SQL is preferred.
  • 1+ years of software testing experience, with the ability to plan, design, and develop software tests preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute test plans, test cases/test scenarios, and test scripts to ensure software applications perform and function correctly based on project requirements.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify software defects and ensure the solutions meet the project needs.
  • Document defects, track defect resolutions, and work with development teams to troubleshoot, prioritize, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with software developers and project members to understand software requirements and execute test cases effectively.
  • Participate in agile sprint planning and daily stand-up meetings, ensuring quality standards are adhered to throughout the development cycle.
  • Create release notes on new functionality for each release as needed.
  • Providing technical assistance to users with software and network issues, typically via email, while documenting interactions and escalating complex problems.

  • AS/BS degree in Computer Science or a computer related field of study, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
