Develop and maintain testing tools and frameworks to ensure business requirements are met and adequate test coverage is achieved
Requirements
- Expert in Manual Software Quality Assurance testing
- Expert in Software Quality Assurance Automation testing
- Strong insurance product knowledge and/or annuity contracts
- Strong knowledge of business administrative processes
- Strong working knowledge of end to end functional and integrative testing across multiple systems
- Proficiency with PC Windows-based software Microsoft Office applications with strong emphasis on Word and Excel
- Basic knowledge of defect tracking and tracking systems (JIRA, Azure Dev Ops)
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality standards, providing guidance across the QA department through continuous improvement
- Serve in the role of system initiative tester to ensure all requirements are performing as expected
- Identify QA Automation opportunities and usher them through the process of getting automated with the QA Automation Engineers
- Make business decisions to move forward with software releases that significantly impact the organization based on the testing performed
- Provide specialized knowledge through role as System Subject Matter Expert, collaborate with business users and Business Analysts to assist in identifying and documenting requirements, acceptance criteria and Rules Definitions
- Review and analyze business and technical requirements, workflows and functional requirements with minimal oversight to develop, execute, maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test data
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree From Four-Year College or University Business Administration, IT, Project Management, or Quality Assurance areas of study preferred
- Commensurate work experience will be considered in lieu of college degree
