CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the quality of their software products by identifying and solving system issues and defects.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the software development and testing process
- Experience writing and using automated test scripts and tools
- Knowledge and experience with databases (SQL Server and Oracle) and the Microsoft stack of software development tools preferred
Responsibilities
- responsible for software testing across all the company's software products
- identify and solve system issues and defects
- outline and execute quality assurance testing plans
- work closely with developers, business analysts, other quality assurance analysts, technical support managers, and project managers to improve the company's software products
- writing and using automated test scripts and tools
- document test cases as well as the results of those test cases
Other
- Bachelor’s degree required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- No prior experience required; however, prior internship(s) and/or applicable coursework preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects and efficiently switch between tasks
- Demonstrated ability to participate effectively as part of a team
- Experience in the utility, energy or pipeline industry is preferred
