Kwik Trip is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to help establish and uphold software quality standards for their business unit customers and guests, ensuring an exceptional software experience.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of quality assurance experience, including analyzing and troubleshooting computer programs and application systems, and collaborating with business users to define system requirements
- In-depth understanding of software quality standards
- Knowledge of different testing methodologies (manual, automated, regression, exploratory, performance, accessibility)
- Experience with various software testing methods and tools
- Apply knowledge in SQL, APIs, and performance testing using associated tools
- Intermediate understanding of Scrum, project management principles, or Agile frameworks
- Ability to operate independently within a scrum team
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and strategies
- Create and execute test cases to verify software functionality
- Use verification tests (smoke, regression, exploratory, etc.) to identify software bugs
- Deliver detailed defect reports to developers, including steps to reproduce, logs, and clear descriptions
- Gather requirements and perform analysis of new and existing systems
- Triage identified issues by reviewing error logs, code, and configuration files
- Analyze automated tests and triage errors and failed cases

- Associate degree in a related field required
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong documentation and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively
- Experience with mentoring others is a plus
