Requirements
- Experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing
- Experience working through the software development life cycle application design, development, and deployment
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of QA databases and applications
- Knowledge of Agile methodology for software development
- Technical writing skills
- Knowledge of software development life cycle
- Familiarity with Unit, System and Regression testing
Responsibilities
- planning, design, and implementation of test plans, test scripts, and process plans for strategic software projects
- execution and validation of test cases based on quality requirements
- identification and documentation of defects, and recommendation of changes to quality guidelines
- ensuring the end product meets minimum quality standards, is fully functional and is user-friendly
- performing Unit, System and Regression testing
- testing in various software and reporting systems to validate user expectations and requirements
- providing quality testing throughout the software development life cycle
Other
- High school degree or GED required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A record of successful delivery to meet organization timelines
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
