Aquatic Informatics (AQI) is looking for a Software QA Automation Engineer to ensure their web and mobile software applications meet quality standards, are free of defects, and meet performance requirements. The role supports mission-critical software used by water facilities globally to ensure water quality.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of coding in C using .NET
- 3+ years experience in a Software Tester or QA Engineer in the software development industry
- Ability to read technical and non-technical documentation and build comprehensive test suites
- Ability to find and report issues and communicate with internal team in a professional and efficient way
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Responsibilities
- Designing and executing automated tests
- Testing web and mobile software applications to ensure they meet quality standards, are free of defects and meet performance requirements
- Developing and executing detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases using an automated testing framework such as C / .NET
- Identifying, recording, documenting, and tracking bugs using Jira
- Performing regression testing after deployments and bug fixes
- Conducting various testing types such as manual, functional, UI/UX, integration, system, and UAT
- Collaborating closely with developers to understand technical constraints
