SSI SCHAEFER is looking to ensure quality standards are met and exceeded for software and software development
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies (ISTQB preferred)
- Proficient with tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Tosca, Selenium, or equivalent
- Familiarity with SQL and API testing is a plus
- 2+ years of QA experience
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute test strategies for assigned projects.
- Lead QA efforts within a project, ensuring timely delivery of test results.
- Mentor QA I staff and provide peer reviews on test cases/defects.
- Manage defect triage sessions with developers and stakeholders.
- Provide input into improving QA processes, templates, and standards.
- Troubleshoot system issues in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd level depending on project requirements
- Support IT CSS engineers and on-site Software Support Engineers.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Ability to run small QA teams within a project
