Nokia of America Corporation is looking to solve software quality assurance problems for the 7x50/IXR router platform
Requirements
- Scripting and Automation using Python
- Networking protocols including TCP, UDP, or IPv4/Ipv6
- Web scraping, including selenium or pytest
- Database testing, and querying
- Tcl or Python based infrastructure
- Automation with feedback and analysis from real-world customer deployments
- Experience with test plans, test procedures and infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Design test plans from product requirement documents for the 7x50/IXR router platform
- Automate test cases using in-house Tcl or Python based infrastructure
- Derive test plan requirements from product requirements and standards documents
- Augment test strategies and automation with feedback and analysis from real-world customer deployments
- Review of test plans, test procedures and infrastructure for adequacy and completeness/correctness
- Debug and fix issues in automated test cases for a given feature and optimize runtime by re-architecting test suites
- Analyze results of tests and interacted with functional test engineers, development engineers and Product Managers in the resolution/root causing of test failures
Other
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
- Accountable for quality and accuracy of own output
- Carries out tasks/activities according to assignment and set guidelines
- Demonstrate initiative and adaptability to changing business environments
