Light & Wonder's Gaming team is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to debug software on new and existing gaming products to ensure they meet functional, technical, and regulatory compliance standards while maintaining high product quality.
Requirements
- Understanding of software test methodologies/procedures and the overall product development lifecycle
- Experience with C and/or C++ and/or C
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix/Windows
- Working knowledge of Visual Studio
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Working knowledge of computer operation and principles of computer hardware
Responsibilities
- Develops, modifies and executes software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing.
- Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.
- Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
- Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
- Submit, track, and assist with escalation, if needed, any product issues found during testing to ensure that they are resolved.
- Reproduce issues when necessary, in order to assist software development in resolving issues.
- Provide detailed Completion Reports at the end of each project
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science
- 2+ year of relevant SQA work experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with other team members
