Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions by conducting comprehensive testing, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, primarily focusing on manual testing but also including executing automated test suites, analyzing results, and reporting any detected failures for US federal government clients across defense, national security, public safety, civilian, and military health organizations.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Proven experience testing healthcare applications, with a focus on EDI transactions and HIPAA-compliant systems
- Proficiency in analyzing and validating EDI file structures, data mapping, and payer-provider workflows
- Hands-on experience testing web applications and APIs
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend verification
- Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Experience executing automated tests using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
Responsibilities

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
