Brightstar is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer I to ensure the integrity and reliability of their lottery systems by performing hands-on testing, analyzing quality metrics, and ensuring solutions meet the highest standards for the Florida Lottery.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related discipline
- Familiarity with SEI, CMM, or ITIL frameworks is a plus
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain test documentation, execute system tests, and manage test environments
- Identify, log, and track defects to ensure system accuracy and performance
- Collaborate with software development teams across locations to ensure quality standards
- Contribute to the development of site-specific QA procedures, test plans, and checklists
- Analyze data regularly to inform testing strategies and decisions
- Draft and review software specifications, RFSSs, and TIRs; assist in developing operational procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
