Instron is looking to improve the quality of their software products, including those integrated with firmware components, by hiring a Software Quality Assurance team member to evaluate and enhance software quality.
Requirements
- Aptitude to learn or experience using test automation tools and or frameworks
- Familiarity with version control software
- Experience with project management or test management software (Azure Devops, Jira, TestRail, Qase)
- Knowledge or experience working in agile or scrum development environments
- Ability to write clear and complete process documentation and test plans
Responsibilities
- Create and execute detailed test cases for new and existing application features
- Perform manual regression, integration, and system level tests
- Organize and document test releases
- Document manual testing on all products based upon high level test plans
- Work in conjunction with developers to meet software goals
- Participate in specification, design, and code reviews as needed

- Follow established ISO procedures for carrying out tasks
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills are required. This position must work effectively with product development team members, SQA team members, and project managers
