The company is looking to hire a software quality engineer to ensure the excellence and high-quality bar of their products by developing and executing comprehensive test suites, diagnosing and resolving complex issues, and shaping the next generation of engineers.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable proficiency in at least one modern programming language (C, C++, or C) or scripting languages (Python) to facilitate reading code, writing test harnesses, or debugging.
  • Working knowledge of a major IDE such as Visual Studio or similar tools used for debugging and code analysis.
  • Hands-on experience working within Windows or Unix environments
  • Proficiency with basic data manipulation tools for test data analysis, metrics tracking, and quality reporting
  • Fundamental understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Hands-on experience with test case management and defect tracking tools
  • Experience with any test automation tools is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases (manual and automated) based on technical and functional specifications.
  • Take full ownership of testing for assigned product features, including comprehensive regression, system, integration, and performance testing.
  • Analyze test results to identify the root cause of defects, then propose and implement effective, data-driven solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure products meet all internal quality metrics and external technical and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Serve as the core quality liaison, collaborating daily with Development and Product teams to triage bugs, resolve issues, and ensure rapid resolution.
  • Reproduce, troubleshoot, and thoroughly test field-reported and customer-facing bugs in live or simulated environments.
  • Perform necessary testing and validation on integrated hardware and firmware components.

Other

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • 3–5 years of experience in Software Testing
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills
  • Ability to rapidly adapt to changing project priorities, and maintain focus and quality in a fast-paced, diverse team setting
