At Boeing, the business problem is to lead comprehensive quality assurance and quality control efforts across multiple programs under the Analysis & Production (A&P) umbrella, ensuring that all software products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and functionality.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience leading software development and/or testing activities
- Demonstrable experience with quality assurance frameworks, processes, and/or procedures
- Experience with automated testing tools and suites
- Experience developing and implementing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and researching and implementing best practices
- Experience with DIA’s PaaS (Platform as a Service) or other PaaS environments
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Experience with GitLab, including CI/CD (Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment) pipelines
Responsibilities
- Development and execution of plans and programs for achieving and maintaining product quality throughout development and maintenance lifecycles
- Monitoring operations to prevent the production of defects and to verify adhere to quality plans and requirements
- Analysis and investigation of adverse quality trends or conditions and initiation of corrective action
- Partnering with stakeholders to identify and review software development requirements, test objectives, and strategies
- Leading the development and maintenance of automated CI/CD and test procedures and frameworks
- Ensuring clear communication and alignment across all A&P programs
- Driving successful project outcomes across the board
Other
- 13+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, and/or software and systems engineering
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field may be substituted for 4 years of experience, and a Master’s degree may alternatively be substituted for 6 years of experience
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Hybrid work is authorized (minimum 3 days per week on-site)
