The Client is looking to support Functional/Load & Performance testing of many software applications used by the Client such as PeopleSoft, PASS, and Web Applications.
Requirements
- Experience using OpenText Testing Tools Suite (LoadRunner/Performance Center and SiteScope) for Load/performance testing.
- Code test scripts to support web service testing.
- Analyze code for requirements verification and validation of test results.
- Proficiency in Jira Test Tools
- Proficiency in Open text Performance testing tool Load Runner
- Ability to think analytically and effectively communicate actionable results for test analysis, issues identified and proposed resolutions.
- Experience with a variety of technologies
Responsibilities
- Performing Software Application Testing of customized solutions on platform to support critical business functions and meet the project objectives, client user requirements and Agency goals.
- Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Workload Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management &Configuration Management.
- Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance, and other non-functional tests.
- Monitor application logs to find system behavior. Address all technical issues.
- Facilitate the resolution and necessarily follow up with Development and other cross-functional departments.
- Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage and DB. Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications.
- Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysis.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
- 6-10 yrs. conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty
- 6-10 yrs. preparing complex technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills and very good time management skills
- Ability to communicate to the Project Team for defects/issues identified during testing
