The Boeing Company is seeking a motivated and talented Software Quality Engineer to join the Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) group in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to support the Boeing Software Quality Engineering business organization and help develop and maintain a culture of first-time quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Software Development lifecycle (including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration & Test)
- 2+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- 1+ years of experience in auditing
- Experience in Configuration Management
- Experience with products developed using Agile software development practices
- 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of software quality engineering experience supporting software with AS9115, DO-178, and/or MIL-STD-882E requirements
Responsibilities
- Defines and maintains program level software quality engineering processes, resources and infrastructure
- Prepares and presents information at formal review meetings
- Assists in development of proposals and cost estimates
- Reviews, comments and approves software life cycle documents and program products
- Plans and conducts audits of software engineering processes and associated support functions
- Participates in configuration management activities
- Reviews deviations and waivers to the software baseline
Other
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
