DISH Business has experienced significant growth in the commercial market and expects to continue growing, particularly with Hotels and Senior living, which adds complexity and challenges to the business, and a QA Engineer is needed to focus on automated testing for Android, video, and API systems to ensure quality feature releases for these growing platforms.
Requirements
- Experienced with API testing
- Certifications in any testing tools and methodologies
- Background in software testing with hands-on experience as a QA Engineer
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and QA best practices
- Skilled in developing and executing detailed test plans and technical documentation
- Experienced in building and automating test cases, including for Salesforce environments
Responsibilities
- Perform regular manual and automated feature and regression testing to ensure product stability
- Build and enhance test plans, including detailed Salesforce-specific feature test plans
- Conduct robust regression testing prior to packaging and continuously refine the Regression Test Suite after each release
- Collaborate closely with developers to promote a quality-first mindset and provide actionable feedback
- Gain deep business knowledge to validate deliverables and ensure alignment with customer needs
- Demonstrate strong initiative, attention to detail, and the judgment to seek clarification when needed
Other
- College degree or 5+ years relevant work experience (e.g. QA/Testing experience, Linux administration, test automation)
