Northrop Grumman is seeking to ensure the quality and compliance of software development processes and products for airborne platforms, meeting internal and external customer requirements and promoting mission success.
Requirements
- Must have knowledge of software development processes including Agile, Waterfall, and Spiral Development processes
- Must have knowledge of C, C++, and Java
- Must have experience in process and product evaluation.
- Ability to understand and work with multiple enterprise-wide systems and software problem tracking tools such as DOORs, Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket
- Experience in software build testing, qualification, and Integration and Test
- Ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance
- Experience with ISO and AS9100 standards requirements
Responsibilities
- Perform process audits of software development processes to assure compliance to established policies, procedures, work instructions, and program specific plans.
- Review customer, system and software requirements to ensure the flow down of requirements is complete and unambiguous.
- Interpret customer technical, software, and quality requirements and ensure those requirements are integrated into program plans, specifications, and product documents.
- Provide technical and process oversight of the full Software and Systems product development lifecycle, including software, system, integration, test, cyber, safety, airworthiness, electrical, and configuration and data management.
- Collaborate with software engineering and systems engineering functions to ensure quality standards are in place and followed.
- Peer review software documents to ensure appropriate content and adherence to standards.
- Witness execution of software qualification and system acceptance tests to ensure tests are executed in accordance with approved test procedures, requirements are fully verified, and that all test procedure and software anomalies are documented and tracked to closure.
