The Boeing Company is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to support the Boeing Software Quality Engineering business organization, focusing on developing and maintaining a culture of first-time quality throughout the software development lifecycle and assuring the process for developing, controlling, and verifying software products is planned and complied with.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Software Development lifecycle (including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration & Test)
- 2+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- 1+ years of experience in auditing
- Experience in Configuration Management
- Experience with products developed using Agile software development practices
- 3+ years of software quality engineering experience supporting software with AS9115, DO-178, and/or MIL-STD-882E requirements
- Experience with DevSecOps and associated tools
Responsibilities
- Defines and maintains program level software quality engineering processes, resources and infrastructure
- Reviews, comments and approves software life cycle documents and program products
- Plans and conducts audits of software engineering processes and associated support functions
- Participates in configuration management activities
- Evaluates validity of test cases against established regulatory and performance requirements
- Verifies test results
- Performs software acceptance and delivery activities for low risk procurement

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills, are crucial for success.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
