The Boeing Company is looking to improve the quality of its software products by assuring the process for developing, controlling, and verifying software products is planned and executed effectively.
Requirements
- 3+ Experience in managing a software system throughout the entire life cycle
- Experience with verification, validation, certification and qualification processes and procedures, including knowledge of governing regulations and compliance requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the Regulated environment Quality Management System, International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS91001)
- Experience in the Military Standards industry, military and government specifications, handbooks and standards as it relates to Software Development Life Cycle
- Experience with presentation and communication to cross function audience
- Experience with Cost Account Management (CAM)
Responsibilities
- Defines and maintains large scale program software quality engineering processes, resources and infrastructure
- Leads process improvement activities
- Prepares and presents information at formal review meetings
- Reviews supplier proposals and makes software quality source selection recommendations
- Leads review and approval of software life cycle documents and program products
- Plans and leads initial baseline internal or supplier, large complex audits of software engineering processes and associated support functions
- Plans software quality test activities and completion of test readiness activities.

- This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain Secret U.S. clearance (Post-Start).
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
