The Boeing Company is looking for Software Quality Engineers to help develop and maintain a culture of first-time quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for their Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) organization. The goal is to improve the quality of software products developed by Boeing or provided by suppliers.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in the Software Development lifecycle (including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration & Test
- 2+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- 2+ years of software quality engineering experience supporting software with AS9115, DO-178, and/or MIL-STD-882E requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Software Development Processes
- Experience with DevSecOps and associated tools
- Experience with Project Management of products developed using Agile software development practices and tools (JIRA)
Responsibilities
- Defines and maintains large scale program software quality engineering processes, resources and infrastructure
- Leads process improvement activities
- Supports development of organization policies, procedures, infrastructure and metrics to support business objectives
- Reviews supplier proposals and makes software quality source selection recommendations
- Leads review and approval of software life cycle documents and program products
- Plans and leads initial baseline internal or supplier, large complex audits of software engineering processes and associated support functions
- Improves products and processes and manages risk

- This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
- The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance (Post-Start).
