Lockheed Martin, Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking to develop and maintain Systems and Software Quality Engineering common processes that are aligned with AS9100 Quality Management System, Program and Customer requirements to ensure the quality of their high-performance air and missile defense, air-to-air, precision fires, close combat, sustainment, sensors, strike system and energy storage solutions.
Requirements
- Software Quality or Engineering experience in Requirements Analysis, Design/Development, Product Integration and Test
- Demonstrated basic understanding of audit techniques
- Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CSQ) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
- Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality Systems/Models such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), QMS System Audit (AS9100, ISO9001)
- Experience driving strategies resulting in the strengthening the Software Quality Management -Systems both at internal sites and at key software suppliers
- Experience with multiple programs or line of business
Responsibilities
- Develops, modifies and applies quality principles to the development and use of software and software-based systems for make and/or buy software products
- Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives
- Designs and implements software development and maintenance processes
- Defines audit strategy to ensure compliance to systems/software processes
- Designs, specifies and conducts test methods for software inspection, verification and validation
- Evaluates and analyzes software quality systems for deficiency identification and correction; ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards; performs software product reviews against contractual, technical and/or process requirements; reviews requirement specifications, design documents, source code, test plans and procedures, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies
- Performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.
Other
- Candidate must work well in a team environment, have excellent customer interface and is expected to quickly come up to speed with the program work scopes, technical requirements, program risks, and delivery milestone schedule.
- This role requires interfacing with systems and software development personnel, test and evaluation personnel, and project managers.
- Travel may be required to support program activities.
- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
