Peraton is seeking to solve the problem of testing and implementing new system behavior and defect corrections to the Intelligence Situation Awareness Tool (ISAT) for the Navy, including the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) program, part of the Navy’s Tomahawk Missile program.
Requirements
- Experience as a software tester
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Familiarity with configuration management tools, including Azure DevOps
- An understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile
- Familiarity with C or C+
- Familiarity with software installation procedures using Ansible
- Understanding of STIGs and cybersecurity best practices
Responsibilities
- Learn ISAT features and functions, including developing an understanding of tactical data
- Develop and execute manual tests following project conventions to verify new system capabilities and bug fixes based on system change definitions
- Report test findings and document new errors per project conventions
- Understand ISAT configuration
- Provide or validate estimates for assigned tasks
- Contribute to the evolution of the project standards and conventions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up) and technical exchange meetings with the customers

- Must be a US Citizen and have an active SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one
- 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
- Ability to follow procedure and to work within a collaborative team environment
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Military background in command and control, communication, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR)
