Penn State is looking to solve challenging problems for ARL’s sponsors as well as internally for ARL needs by developing applications using a wide variety of software concepts, techniques, and languages
Requirements
- Programming in C/C++, C, Java, or Python
- Use of version tracking tools – Jira, Git
- Embedded software development
- Graphical user interface development
Responsibilities
- Work closely with a team to develop applications to best fit project needs
- Maintain version tracking and code documentation
- Support field testing – to include remote or in person troubleshooting of software system
- Rigorously test application and write unit tests, if required for project
Other
- Bachelor's Degree - Engineering or Science
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- U.S. citizen to apply
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance
