The Naval Research Laboratory, Tactical Electronic Warfare Division needs a Software Reverse Engineer to support advancing electronic warfare (EW) through RDT&E of current and future technologies.
Requirements
- Experience with disassemblers (e.g. Ida Pro or Ghidra) and debuggers.
- Experience with C/C++, Python and assembly languages.
- Experience with embedded system development.
- Experience analyzing software for functional operation and system level implementation.
- Experience designing and integrating digital circuitry to include: FPGAs, DSPs, and fundamental circuit elements.
- Experience with digital signal processing.
Responsibilities
- Reverse engineer and analyze software in EW applications.
- Design and develop custom interface software for use in controlling and collecting critical parameters during test and evaluation of assets.
- Generate technical reports documenting design and analysis.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience.
- Current Secret clearance with ability to possess TS/SCI.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills; ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver feedback clearly and tactfully.
- Regular and punctual attendance is required.
