Apple is looking to leverage Generative AI to unlock new experiences and expand the capabilities of its products and platforms. This role aims to support the engineering team by screening incoming issues, implementing tooling, and scaling a rapidly growing team to realize this mission.
Requirements
- Advanced experience with version control systems, specifically git
- Experience in programming or scripting, preferably in Python
- Basic understanding of macOS and iOS
- Experience with Xcode and Apple internal development practices
Responsibilities
- Support developers for triage and analysis of issues
- Work with others to complete analysis, evaluations and design alternatives and to implement process improvements
- Develop, maintain and collaborate on tools that support and automate processes for screening issues in our software
- Compile and assemble software from source code for triaging and debugging, independent from development engineers' workflow
- Maintain branching for software repositories
- Maintain documentation of features for team
- Monitor communications in screening chat rooms
