dormakaba is seeking a remote Software Solutions Technical Specialist to serve as the LGS (Lodging System) product expert, providing guidance and solutions to resolve deployment-related issues, ensuring client satisfaction, project revenue, and delivery timelines.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Server and Client Operating Systems, SQL Server databases, and Microsoft Networking Fundamentals
- Hands-on knowledge of DevOps toolchains, including frameworks for Android and iOS platforms
- Knowledge of iCloud services and cloud platforms; SaaS experience with Azure/AWS certification preferred
- Hands-on experience with access control, alarm systems, and related software.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for the installer hotline, addressing questions that arise during installations
- Manage incoming calls from field technicians, certified installers, and integrators
- Support the definition, development, installation, and testing of software systems and application
- Conduct remote software installations and deliver end-user training as needed
- Collaborate with the Project Coordinator to resolve technical escalations on projects
Other
- 2+ years’ experience in a support role, ideally within a call center or field service environment
- Multilingual skills are an asset, particularly in French and Spanish
- Prior experience in training or teaching.
