Serco is looking for a Senior Web Developer to support the US Air Force's DMOC contract, which involves maintaining simulation training exercises. The role is critical for upgrading, maintaining, and managing software on battle space systems to ensure airman safety and mission success.
Requirements
- 2 years of Python, C++, and JAVA Script programming experience.
- Experience in programming for military systems.
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and SQLite technologies.
- Experience in the Django, and ReactJS Framework.
- Experience in Linux (Red hat) and containerization (Docker).
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and deliver high-availability and performance.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
- Code, design, and implement Python, C++, and JAVA script for Airforce training systems.
- Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, debugging activities and maintenance.
- Develop application codes for programs, technical designs for application development and recommend changes to improve established python application processes.
- Identify production and non-production application issues, develop solutions, and implement necessary changes.
Other
- An active Interim Secret clearance.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or similar.
- Experience in consulting directly with military customers.
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- The ability to travel up to 10%
