Amdocs is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, optimize, and support data pipelines, working with cloud-based data platforms, and managing large-scale production environments.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring and Python
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, ScyllaDB, Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL) and Couchbase
- Proven ability to build and scale data pipelines
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Kafka, and cloud security
- Expertise in tools like Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics/OTEL, and Splunk
- Experience with AWS, Azure (preferred)
- Experience with Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using Snowflake & ScyllaDB
- Build scalable microservices in Java
- Deploy Kubernetes-based applications for optimal performance
- Utilize Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk for automation and system monitoring
- Optimize performance for Oracle, Snowflake, and ScyllaDB
- Apply best practices for data protection and cloud security
- Monitor system performance, analyze failures, and provide fast and accurate solutions
Other
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science or related field
- 2 to 3 years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Development, or Cloud Infrastructure
- Good communication and presentation skills
- On-call production support, including nights and weekends
- Provide night and weekend on-call support to ensure uninterrupted system availability
